OCA/JACL Leadership Summit Report

Max Wang attended the Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, March 19th. He was able to speak and connect with OCA representatives from around the country as well as staff working with OCA National. Particularly, working with representatives from OCA New York, Long Island, and Detroit, they were able to lobby the Neighbors Not Enemies Act, Fred Korematsu Congressional Gold Medal Act, and Alleviating Barriers for Caregivers Act in both Senator Gillibrand and Representative Suozzi's offices.
