About Us

Founded in 1973, OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates is a national non-profit civil rights organization promoting and protecting the political, economic, and cultural rights of all Asian Pacific Islander Americans (APIA) in American through initiative at all levels of the government.

The OCA - Westchester & Hudson Valley Chapter (OCA-WHV) was founded in 1980, it is one of over 50 chapters and affiliates across the U.S. that strives to develop leadership, community involvement, and civil participation for all APIAs.

 

OCA-WHV is the leading social advocacy and cultural organization of Asian Pacific Islander Americans in the Westchester and Hudson Valley region of New York State.  Our talented and committed membership sponsors a full calendar of events and projects, all of which celebrate the growing presence of Asian Pacific Islander Americans and raise awareness of our needs and concerns.
