"Dealing with Conflicts" program was initialed by our YOCA member Max Wang. He connected with Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) after he recorded one of the Youth Podcasting this summer. The program is also sponsored by the Greenburgh Library, thanks to YOCA President Jaydon Cao who has helped on establishing the sponsorship. The program will be 2-3 hour workshops that introduce the respective programs while tying in exercises for building dialogue and transforming conflict.Â
We will email you with a confirmation message one week prior to the event. RSVP will close at 20 per session date.

Max Wang is our 2024 Youth Podcasting program lead, his idea of breaking an hour length long video to multiple short videos was a huge success, our video views has been increased from about 200 views to more than 8,000 views! Max's organizational and leadership skills are remarkable for a high school junior. He has participated in the podcasting program in the past three years. He also attended the 2024 OCA National Convention, and became very active since then. Besides this program, Max is also working on an extended Youth Podcasting program -Â Teen Podcasting with a Psychologist.
