About the Event
The Ardsley Asian American Pacific Islander (“AAPI”) Festival is in honor of AAPI Heritage Month. This is the first such festival for Ardsley, and the vision for the AAPI Festival is for it to be an uplifting and enriching event that showcases the rich diversity of Asian cultures and traditions through the arts. The goal is to build and foster community through the visual, written and performing arts, which is a universal language that can connect us all. This multi-generational celebration will include live dances, educational workshops, Asian arts and cultural exhibits. The Festival will also highlight current advocacy efforts regarding the integration of AAPI history into educational curricula across New York state, which is currently the focus of a Senate bill supported by Westchester County.
