James Qian

I am a senior at Edgemont Highschool who enjoys running, making new friends, and impacting the environment around me. Running has always been a big passion of mine, and I have spent the last 3 years in highschool dedicating every season to a different running event. Something else that I love is forming new connections and meeting new people. The countless different interactions that can happen from person to person excites me and the idea of forming strong bonds with new people is something I very much enjoy. When given the opportunity, I also take part in helping multiple different organizations that work to better living opportunities for all kinds of people including the AAPI community and even refugees. I'm devoted towards spreading awareness for all kinds of problems faced by different people and I'm an advocate of the idea that you have to be the change you want to see.
