Chloe Lee
I am a senior at Scarsdale High School passionate about social justice and psychology. I am the Captain of my school's speech and debate team, creative director of my school's newspaper, Vice President of my school's mental health awareness club, and president of my school's Students Against Violence Club. I am the Founder and Chapter Lead of the Dear Asian Youth Westchester Chapter and also serve as the West Regional Lead on the National chapter committee. My work has been centered on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within Westchester County and supporting the Asian community through various communal programs and publications. Specifically, I have worked with the Scarsdale Public Library to create numerous events educating the public about Asian culture and history and have led my chapter to create two magazines exploring Asian identity and heritage. Outside of my advocacy, I am currently working on publishing a research paper about the moderating effect of emotion regulation on the relationship between self-esteem and social desirability. I am also an avid participant in speech and debate. I am a 4x National Qualifier, have been ranked as highly as #3 in the state for two events, and recently championed a National circuit tournament.
