Amy Feng

I believe that people are always growing, no matter where they are in life, and that is why I strive and push to be a better version of myself each and every day. I love staying active in my many communities and find great joy in my activities and hobbies. I enjoy being an active and engaged member of my school community, because I've been able to guide and aid many peers, as well as meet new friends. I've made so many core memories of mine that never would have happened had I not been so involved. Outside of school, I love being engaged with my community as a whole and I strive to have tangible, positive impacts on those around me. I am very passionate about Asian American advocacy work, because I want the kids who are growing up now to have more positive experiences than I did. It also gives me a chance to deeply explore my own identity. Beyond these, I love playing volleyball or going to the city with my friends. I especially enjoy hiking, no matter the weather or season, because I can bring my two dogs, Taco and Burrito, along.
