Paul Xiaochuan Yuan

Dr. Paul (Xiaochuan) Yuan brings extensive engineering and leadership experience to the board. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton, as well as a B.S. and M.S. from Xi’an Jiaotong University. His professional career includes seven years as a Senior R&D Engineer in IBM's Electronics Division, followed by 15 years as a Manager with Cadence Design Systems in the DSG group. Beyond his corporate background, Dr. Yuan is a dedicated community leader, having served as Vice Principal and then Principal of the Huaxia Chinese School of Greater New York from 2018 to 2023. He currently continues his support for local education and community engagement as Vice Board Chair of the school.
