Emily Xie

Emily is a student at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School in New York. She has worked to support and engage the community through her involvement with YOCA-WHV, participating in programs such as the Summer Reading Program, AAPI Mental Health Seminars, and annual Meet the Candidates Forum. Through these experiences, she has collaborated with peers, developed leadership and communication skills, and contributed to initiatives that promote community engagement and civic participation. Emily is passionate about learning, connecting with others, and making a positive impact in her community. She values teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth, and enjoys taking on opportunities that allow her to support and uplift those around her. In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
