Alina Peng

Alina is currently a senior at Scarsdale High School. She joined YOCA 2 years ago to further advocate for AAPI inclusion and education, working to promote representation, cultural awareness, and equity within her community. She has been an active member of the YOCASummer Reading Program and enjoys creating an environment that emphasizes diversity and mental health for kids. Outside of YOCA, Alina is an active debate officer of her school's Speech and Debate team, a dedicated dancer on the Varsity Dance Team and competitive dance team, and she also volunteers as a literacy tutor, helping children strengthen their reading and writing skills.
